On January 26, 2018, NBC's Today Show featured a PEGASAS Project on Heated Pavements. NBC's Jeff Rossen traveled to Des Moines International Airport where Professor Halil Ceylan of Iowa State University has installed a prototype of the heated pavements. The concrete slab was put to the test when Rossen spread snow over the slab to show just how quickly the snow melts. Watch the segment here
